Diving - the adventure of a lifetime.

Diving: relaxing, action-packed, tranquil, adrenaline pumping, adventurous - diving is all this and more - the choice is yours.

Can you imagine being in a tropical location diving in crystal clear water, surrounded by brightly colored coral and fish. You and your buddy put on your dive equipment to enter the water and explore the abundance of marine life -- all the while hovering weightlessly underwater. Or, you could be off exploring a new shipwreck off the coast of a small island out in the middle of the ocean - where conditions are challenging.

You're ready for anything because you've invested in the right training and have gained valuable hands-on experience. Is being prepared for worth it? You bet!

Do you have to travel to these areas to learn to dive or take a continuing education course? You can if you like. However, you can also choose to learn most of these skills in areas relatively close to where you live.

Technical DivingTechnical Diving

Diving on air has limits. When we dive on air we have to consider nitrogen narcosis and NDL (no decompression limits) when planning dives. However, unless you plan to dive deeper than 66 meters you don't have to think about oxygen toxicity when breathing air. Technical diving pushes back the no decompression limits and nitrogen narcosis limits of air.PADI, TDI or IANTD Basic Nitrox:

To understand technical diving you need to decide that you would like to extend your diving limits. Maybe you want to do 30 minutes at 30 meters instead of having a 20-minute NDL. The PADI Basic Nitrox course shows you how to do this. We simply add a bit more oxygen to the air you are breathing, and by the process of elimination, reduce the nitrogen. Recreational use of Nitrox is restricted to mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. Less nitrogen in the gas means you absorb less nitrogen while you are diving. By using a set of adjusted Recreational Dive Planners we can now dive longer.
